Sedation Dentistry
Even though most patients tell us "I didn't even feel the injection" and that they were very comfortable, the truth is dentistry is not always comfortable. Although we are very gentle with both children and adults and provide a relaxing spa atmosphere, we also offer Nitrous Oxide to make getting dental work even more relaxing. Neuromuscular Dentistry (TMJ & Bite Evalutation & Correction)
To understand Neuromuscular Dentistry (NMD), it helps to first know a few things about your occlusion or “bite”. Your occlusion is the way that your upper and lower teeth fit together. The muscles of your head and neck posture your jaw and hold the lower teeth close to the upper ones. You don’t consciously hold your jaw in this position “programmed” in your brain.
